Instant Scene Modeler
Like human vision, iSM uses a pair of cameras to observe a scene. As each camera
looks at the scene from a slightly different angle iSM can measure distances to
hundreds of thousands of points in each scene. When the cameras move, new objects
come into the field of view. iSM automatically matches new images, computes camera
motion, and seamlessly merges 3D data into one virtual model. The model is calibrated,
and instantly provides measurements for immediate viewing or can be saved for future
reference.
