The ESP750 Enhanced Space Processor represents MDA’s sixth generation of space computers,
incorporating several enhancements over its flight proven fifth generation ESP603.
Like the ESP603, it is designed and built to the highest space standards.
Featuring levels of integration normally found only on commercial products, the
3U Compact-PCI ESP750 Board provides high performance processing capabilities and
I/O peripheral functions.
The card is built around the IBM PowerPC 750FXTM processor operating at up to 700
MHz and includes Level 1 (L1) and Level 2 (L2) cache memory, on-board SDRAM, EEPROM,
Built-In Test (BIT), a secure digital watchdog timer and a compliment of General
Purpose I/O (GPIO), interrupt and timer functions.
