Canadarm Poised To Lay The Exterior Framework For The International Space Station
The Canadarm, developed by MD Robotics, a subsidiary of MacDonald Dettwiler and
Associates Ltd. (TSE:MDA), will play a pivotal role on STS-92. The 11-day mission,
launched from the Kennedy Space Center on October 11. The mission will rely on the
50-foot robotic arm to move more than 12 tons of space hardware and support astronauts
during four scheduled space walks to complete electrical and data connections.
